How To Get Verified On YouTube – YouTube Tutorial

When you are creating content on YouTube it is important that you are seen by your community as committed and legit. One of the best ways to do that on YouTube by verifying your Channel. In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to easily verify your channel.

The first thing that you need to do is make sure you are logged into your YouTube channel that you are wanting to verify. Once you are logged in click on your channel icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen and go to the “Creator Studio”.

Next, once you are in the creator studio you need to navigate to the left-hand column and click on the channel link.

Now that you are in the channel section of the creator studio you will be immediately taken to the “Status and Features” section. Here you will be able to see all of the current available YouTube features for your channel. At the top of this page, you will see your channel name and then to the right of that you will see a button that says “Verify”.

When you click the verify button it will start the 2 step verification process. The first step will ask you to confirm the country you live in AND to provide them with a phone number to either call or text you to verify.

After you provide the phone number and then decide if you want to receive an actual phone call OR have them send you a text, you will then be provided a 6 digit code. Type this code in the verification box provided on the next screen.

You will then see the Verified confirmation on the next page. It looks like this.
