In this week’s episode, I chat with Jess from the STEMinine YouTube channel. She is a mechanical engineer and currently finishing her Master’s in combustion at ETH Zurich (the Swiss technical institute). I created STEMinine, a YouTube channel and now podcast dedicated to shining a spotlight on women in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math). I believe this is important because people need to be able to picture women in these roles, and it’s important for girls to see women in these roles because generally, it’s difficult to become someone you’ve never seen.
